KUALA LUMPUR – Media Prima Bhd (MPB) has introduced a portal called “PeopleConnect 3.1” to accelerate the integration of its subsidiary companies, including the New Straits Times Press (NSTP).

MPB chairman Datuk Johan Jaaffar said the portal would serve as a medium to interact with employees, besides providing them with first-hand information. Through the portal, the employees could log on and share information on company activities as well as contribute ideas.

“All dealings can be made online and this change is clearly beneficial for everyone,” he said.

The launch was held at Balai Berita, Jalan Riong. Also present were NSTP chief executive officer Datuk Anthony Bujang, group managing editor Abdul Jalil Hamid, Berita Harian group editor Datuk Mior Kamarul Shahid and New Straits Times group editor Datuk Syed Nadzri Syed Harun.
