Background

Skor, a weekly 20-page educational tabloid which aims to guide form four and five students towards scoring excellent results in their Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination.

Launched on April 26, 2001, "Skor is Berita Harian's contribution towards providing adequate knowledge and information with practical exercises relating to 12 academic subjects to help students excel in their examinations," said group editor of Berita Harian, Datuk Ahmad Rejal Arbee.

Experienced teachers, lecturers and invigilators who have keen insights in their subjects of expertise, prepare the articles.

The subjects covered are Bahasa Melayu & Komponen Sastera, Bahasa Inggeris, Matematik, Matematik Tambahan, Pendidikan Moral, Fizik, Kimia, Biologi, Pendidikan Islam, Prinsip Akaun, Sejarah and Sains.

It also has a special column on educational opportunities, scholarship offers and future career prospects.

Distributed with Berita Harian on Wednesday, Skor is a value newspaper for its target audience of students, teachers and parents.

Who Reads Skor

Students in form four and five, aged between 16 and 17 who will be sitting for the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia towards the end of the year. Included in the readership are teachers and parents who are actively involved in motivating their students/teenagers. Total readership
